It wasn't my fault, I swear. It's where they keep the Unemployment Office around here.

Two new discoveries:

They sell Shiatsu massage chairs. Admittedly I don't know that much about how Shiatsu works, but is that even physically possible?

And obviously I am way behind the times, I actually made the mistake of thinking that a store with "Sport" or "Athlete" in their name was the most likely place to look for sporting equipment. Evidently I am hopelessly naive.

Heh. I made the same mistake recently. I went into a "Sporting Goods" store looking for some hand weights and finally found some tucked into a corner, buried among the hockey jerseys, football jackets, baseball caps, and major league team T-shirts.

Those shiatsu chairs rock, even if it isn't close to a real shiatsu massage, they're great. I have enjoyed them at airports and at the Don Mills Centres. I would love to have one at home.

Every I read '"Sporting Goods"' in quotes like that, I think of some place that sells bondage gear and lubricants.

Not quite possible, though, i guess they could fake it pretty good. Most of the shiatsu type machines I've seen come no where close to the type of work that shiatsu actually is (meaning no rubbing type of motion). Most of what pure shiatsu is, is just compressions with either a part of the hand, or more specifically, the finger or heel. :) Sorry, had to spout the knowledge
