boogers and dust
Nov. 14th, 2002 03:26 pmCleaned all the crap out of the basement today.
Holy fuck.
When I say "crap", I use that word quite intentionally. Two big green bags went out with the garbage. (But don't tell the wives.)
Anybody out there who can use half a 3-cubic-ft bag of compressed cedar chips? (They were originally purchased to be used as bedding for my snake, but I don't have a snake any more.)
I have a kajillion things to do today. But first I have to go pull nails and and crapped-out pink insulation out of the walls.
I need a beer.

I have visions of you shoving the whole lot in the mailbox. Or addressing each chip individually...
For what it's worth I might have a 'feel your pain' moment re: basements as I've been offered use of one in a firend's hose as a permanent separate studio facility. Time to dig for victory! (or bodies, knowing this town's history...)

I'm sure that with an adequately-powered saw I could turn the block into mailable-sized packages.
(All things are possible with an adequate selection of powertools.)

Finding bodies would cheer me right up. I've had to pack up all my dead things in the interests of not scaring off any potential buyers of sensitive mien.
