I am pleased to advise you that your birth daughter has also submitted an application indicating her interest in meeting and sharing information, if you are both agreeable and consent to the disclosure.

We have asked the Children's Aid Society of Toronto to provide services in helping you re-establish contact. A counsellor from that agency will be in touch with you to make further arrangements. You should be aware that in some societies, due to workload issues, there is a delay before the counsellor can provide this service.

I am also informing your birth daughter of your registration.

I hope that you are pleased with this information and that this will prove to be a happy and rewarding experience for both of you.

Good luck with it. I'm in touch with my birth mother now and it's worked out wonderfully.

And her adoptive mother will be happy to explain all her quirks as being the product of a six-foot-tall mohawked punk rock mother ;-)
