Write Every Day: Day 4

Another pleasant night on the porch, another couple of pages of handwriting. Today the temperature has dropped considerably so hopefully I'll be able to transcribe it all.

If I can read my own writing, which is a different problem. I'm looking at the notes I made for a podcast I record on Sundays, and my grade 2 teacher would be absolutely appalled.

I laughed out loud when you remarked on your grade 2 teacher. I often think that about the teachers who despaired of correcting my chicken-scratch in middle school. I'm glad I'm not alone in imagining that disappointment. Lol!

On Day 4, I added 881 words to Chapter 15, leaving AD hanging having given a big apologetic speech about how much he loves Jake. We'll see what Jake has to say about it tomorrow.

It's funny how many people say the same thing. I imagine using a computer all the time doesn't' help.

Terrible handwriting - the reason I have dropped all attempts at cursive that aren't my signature, in hopes that I'll spend less time having to decipher things when I go to type my writing up. I'm not sure how successful someone *else* would be but it mostly works for me.

Day 4: Another 10 minutes today on the same scene as yesterday. Didn't get as many words down, but words were written.

I had a loooong day of adulting (and waiting, and waiting some more, and hurry-up-and-waiting) but I managed some writing. I've got a revising and reorganizing project going, which is easy to dip into.

My handwriting is okay for a sentence or two, but my brain goes faster than my fingers and my handwriting turns into an utter mess. 8-/ I hope you can transcribe your pages!
