Write Every Day: Day 8

Yesterday was ridiculous. It took me 3 HOURS to travel the 10 k to the Old Man's residence - including getting dumped out of the streetcar about 3k away. There were supposed to be shuttle buses but I gave up waiting after enough people had gathered to fill two buses and just walked for the last 30 minutes. If I don't have the promised buns of steel after this week, I will most certainly have callouses of concrete.

A long day and only a paragraph added to my story at the end of it.

Day 8: 750 words, what feels like the first really nice solid 'getting words written' day I've had in a while. :)

July 8th - 806 words on an unfinished challenge fic. I'll finish it tomorrow. Too tired today.

Day 8: I took the laptop with me down to the lake where I don't have internet, and spent the afternoon alternately writing and skinnydipping. 800 words of werewolf fic--now that's more like it! Total wordcount: 6,900.

Ugh, I'm sorry for all the transit hassle. It sounds a mess!

On Day 8, we've been very busy, so I just managed to add 56 words to Chapter 17. Better than nothing!

Jun 8: Late start because reasons, but 1100 words, bringing me to 14K total and the end of the final sex scene. Now I just need to figure out how to finish this thing, and I'm done.
