Write Every Day: Day 8

Yesterday was ridiculous. It took me 3 HOURS to travel the 10 k to the Old Man's residence - including getting dumped out of the streetcar about 3k away. There were supposed to be shuttle buses but I gave up waiting after enough people had gathered to fill two buses and just walked for the last 30 minutes. If I don't have the promised buns of steel after this week, I will most certainly have callouses of concrete.

A long day and only a paragraph added to my story at the end of it.

Day 8: I took the laptop with me down to the lake where I don't have internet, and spent the afternoon alternately writing and skinnydipping. 800 words of werewolf fic--now that's more like it! Total wordcount: 6,900.
