After I made that last post, I immediately went and threw up. This worried me a little -- I wondered if maybe it was bothering me a lot more to talk about it than I was consciously registering.

Nope. I merely had food poisoning.

So that's alright then.

So I spent all of yesterday nibbling on arrowroot cookies and drinking ginger tea and feeling like complete ass. My tattoos got that neat braille effect that always happens when an ink-positive person is severely dehydrated.

My brain appears to be back in non-fuzzy mode again this morning. I'm working from home for the next couple of days, and I have a lot of catching up to do. So if I owe you a follow-up about something, now is the time to give me a good hard poke. (lee_chaos and markeris, you guys are next on my list, promise.)

Maybe I'll get lucky and hear back from the CCAS caseworker today.
