lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

We seem to have successfully locked the crawling bugs out of the house, but somewhere there is a hole that is letting in all manner of flying and jumping wildlife.
This morning I got up to find this in my kitchen. Ugly little bastard, isn't he?
I stuck him a jar as soon as I saw him and fired up the computer, because there have wanted posters all over town for the Asian
Longhorned Beetle - but nope, a case of mistaken identity.
Although I'm starting to wonder if the reason I'm seeing more beetles in the house is because we got rid of the mice.
