My NoSwear review

My No Sweat sneakers arrived while I was away.

They look like this:



Yes, my feet are pink. I dare you to say anything about it. *looks fierce*[1]

At first examination, they seem to be quite sturdy and well-made - certainly comparable to Converse.

The one thing that surprised me is that they are wider at the toe. Converse tend to taper a bit, and these don't. It felt weird when i first put them on, but it actually means that they are more comfortable.

So there you go. If they fall apart on me I'll post about it, but I don't think they are going to.

I wouldn't dare say anything. I have the EXACT same shoes, only mine are Cons, so I overpaid terribly for them :}

They look *so* hot with an all-black wardrobe. I even thought about painting my bike pink so that I could look ever-so put-together.

Dammit. I desperately need to replace my black Chucks with the white tongues, as they are beyond dirty and beaten down thanks to wearing them at the grocery store. But No Sweat appears to be out of most of their shoes just now, and has no black hi-top option. [sob]

The black low-cuts were the first style they brought in, about six-eight months ago. I wrote to them at the time and they promised they'd be bringing in the high tops if the shoes prooved to be popular.

Since then they've added the red and pink high-tops and they seem to be selling really well. I get the impression they have a limited amount of overhead to work with, so they add new styles as they can afford to.

This is a long way of saying, keep checking back. They are updating their catalogue pretty regularily.
