Some stuff that has got my attention today.

First of all, the fun stuff.

I cannot stop playing this game. I've made it to 140 zombies so far. From mr_sharkey.

This video is just gorgeous, and completely surreal. I find it fascinating and beautiful and yeah, a little bit creepy. Fomr epi_lj.

with_gusto was on hiatus for the summer, but he's back now. Funny stuff.

On the less funny side;

kathrynt posts here yearly rant about Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There is definitely some info there that's worth doing more research on.

From the more-pissed-off-than-I-can-express files, several blogs have linked to this story about an army vet who moved to Canada to avoid prosecution for growing marijuana to treat his chronic pain, and was yanked from a hospital by Canadian authorities, driven to the border with a catheter still attached, and turned over to U.S. officials. This is bullshit and both governments should be getting an earful.

That video is *awesome* - reminds me of Bjork / Chris Cunningham, unsurprisingly. I watched it with the sound down so I've no idea what it's for, but if it's not twisted minimalist electronica, I'll be disapointed...

By the way, I'm in town with my gal from 17th - 21st November. I'd like to catch up on all those beers we've been promising each other... ;D
