another to-do list

Things accomplished so far this week:
Cat went to the vet for his monthly arthritis shot. They took his blood pressure at the same time and said it looked better than last month.
The ex and I used to use a wine-making place so there were about twenty-five (very dusty) boxes of empty wine bottles in the basement. I put in an order for wine a couple of months ago that was ready this week, so I sorted the bottles, washed the ones I wanted to use and brought them in to be filled. A couple of dozen bottles I don't want (mostly because they're an awkward size) I dropped off for deposit.
Today was work in the basement bathroom day so I spent some time scrubbing random paint spatters off the tiles, packing away / throwing out paint cans and sorting away tools. I recently put some new shelves in the basement to try and keep track of all the crap, and give myself a hope of finding things when I want them - which is how I found out that there are eight partial cans of WD-40 in the basement. Last week I gave away five containers of pet stain remover and the week before that two boxes of light-bulbs that don't fit any of my existing lamps.
This must be the ADHD tax I keep hearing about.
I heard back from the permit-wrangler. We have a tentative conditional pass if an engineer will look at it and sign off. Now I'm just waiting to find out when that will happen, he said this week but I haven't heard anything yet.
The woman who did the energy audit also got back to me to say she fixed whatever was hanging on her side. I checked the portal and her report went through so now I just have to upload receipts. Fortunately I compiled all my receipts, contracts, and work orders last week in anticipation of this moment. So I know that everything I need will be right here, somewhere in this, I-shit-you-not, 28-inch high stack of paper that I have sitting beside my desk.
Still To Do List:
When I was cleaning in the bathroom the caulking around the sink was all cracked and hanging ugly so I scraped it off and cleaned the area. Tomorrow I'll see if I can get the hang of putting new caulk on. This is a new experiment for me and I don't have the steadiest hands so I'll practice on a random piece of cardboard first. Wish me luck.
Tomorrow is also physio, I need to drop a box off at the fedex, and then I should hit the farmer's market for supplies. Oh, and somebody who wants the old lock said he would come pick it up tomorrow night, so I have to remember to leave that out.
Friday is hang out with dad day. My sister and I are still trying to get him in for his covid & flu shots.
I need to get my own shots done regardless. There's a drugstore by his place that's open until 8 PM, so if I can't convince his wife to let me take him I'll just get my own on my way out. It's Moderna this year and that always kicks my ass, so if I can get a shot late on Friday I'll have Saturday for recovery.
Sunday is back to work. Bleagh.

On the plus side, I'm thinking this is more evidence I don't have ADHD, and in the argument for more storage!
