What was I saying?

I have the plague.

I've had it for days, actually. I was sneezing and coughing and weeping all weekend, but went to work anyway. Yesterday I finally called in sick, and I slept for fifteen hours. Dude. I don't think I did that in the hospital.

Since this is a chest/head cold, and I'm already asthmatic as hell, I'm still not breathing very well. This results in me being very slow-witted and confused most of the time. I'm perfectly mobile (although I have to sit down a lot, due to that whole not breathing thing) so I'm constantly wandering around the house, picking things up and then walking around forgetting I'm holding something.

Not getting much accomplished as a result.

I have to go out and pick up our food box soon. I expect this will take a long time, as I will have to sit down several times in the journey to catch my breath. I also expect I will be standing through numerous green signal lights while I vaguely try to remember exactly where it is I'm going and what for.

Hopefully I'll remember to go home again once I get there. Wish me luck.
