hangover and cake
Nov. 22nd, 2005 12:37 pmThe Good
A whole lotta people I don't get to see nearly often enough.
mr_sharkey and
50_ft_queenie beaming like loons at the end of their wedding ceremony.
OMG the food. I was hovering over the fresh salmon the entire night.
The Bad
Squirreling away money towards the get-shit-paid-off project was er, somewhat delayed this month what with all the hanging out with non-Toronto folk.
The looking-for-a-new-job-that-don't-suck project is also somewhat behind schedule.
Nanowrimo? Pfft!
The Ugly
OwowowfuckingOW. I wore heels to the wedding - which I've done before with no problem. But the rubber tips came off the heels the second I walked in the door[1] and since it was a hardwood floor that meant that I was constantly adjusting my balance on feet that wanted to skitter sideways with every step. It didn't hurt at the time, but I've been feeling like somebody is stabbing me in the back since I woke up on Sunday morning.
[1] About 45 minutes after they were picked up from the repair shop. Not Pleased.
