Tomorrow is my poop-scope. I'm feeling a little nervous about this.

I'm also feeling a little hungry. No solid food for me today, just clear liquids and a solution called "Clean-Prep". The name alone fills me with dread.

You know, being nervous would be easier to handle on a full stomach. Just sayin'.

Hate to tell you, but the prep stuff is horrible! The procedure itself was no drama for me, the twilight anaesthetic they gave me actually knocked me out enough that I only vaguely remembered seeing myself on the screen and being wheeled back to recovery.

I had a flex sig a couple years ago. (Upper endoscopy at the same time.) The enemas the night before were THE WORST, I came away with horrors that some people do those for *fun*. Ugh. But the procedure itself was nothing. In fact I was really, really disappointed that I didn't get to remember it.

I've heard a few not-so-fun stories about the Clean-Prep. But getting a clean bill of health is worth it. Just remember:
