I've been meaning to ask you to teach me how to make animated gifs. I've been perusing the "howto" sites, but they all have links that don't work to programs that are older than me.

Hahahahaha. I actually know very little about making animated gifs. I honestly just steal them from people. I know it's wrong and whatever but it's livejournal so the guilt doesn't last very long. Although I think panic knows some neato stuff, I'm sure she can teach you..

I have a paid-for version (I got it from BC) but the Corel (http://www.corel.com) site and Tucows (http://www.tucows.com/) have demos.
