I never did get to pee

I had a dream last night where every time I went to the bathroom all these people would show up and start asking me to do things for them. I would hunt out some private cubicle in some deserted corner of the universe and no sooner had I mounted the throne when the door would open and I would have to agree to a series of favours - everything from driving a truck full of gnu, zebra and ostriches to Judder[1] to helping some girl break the love spell that a local witch had used to steal her fiance away.

I suspect I might be feeling a little over-extended.

How curious! A phantom-pee-dream?

You don't want to know how much of my subconscious seems to involve scenarios in which I cannot pee privately, & run frantically around looking for somewhere.

I do. I never get to beat them up, but once they all sneered at me & said "What are YOU doing here. You're SO OLD!" Which was a good point. I'm in my mid-thirties. Why am I still in the school toilets?

I woke up convinced I'd never have to dream about school again.

Hasn't been entirely successful.
