Question of the Day: Take a Walk Outdoors

18 – Thesaurus Day: Do you own a thesaurus? How often do you consult a thesaurus to find just the right word?
19 – Popcorn Day: Do you like popcorn? What is your favourite topping for popcorn? Or do you prefer it plain?

I look my shit up online and I like popcorn with butter.

20 – Take a Walk Outdoors Day: Is being outdoors important to you? How often do you spend time outside/in nature? Do you have easy access to parks or walking trails or other natural areas (e.g. the beach)? Do you feel any benefit if you make the effort to go out into nature? Do you try to get outside regularly? Depending on where you live, January might not be the best month for marking Take a Walk Outdoors Day – do you find it more difficult to venture outdoors in the winter?

I probably should walk outside more than I do. But Toronto has such terrible air quality, my lungs tend to be less than thrilled if I try. The best days for me tend to be either cool and windy fall days or one of these crystalline winter days when the sun is bright and the air is so cold all the smeck just freezes out of it.

I do very much love walking in the woods. Although last time I tried it I discovered just how much my b0rked inner ear takes flat surfaces for granted.

I visited the Old Man today and he is fine. They'll be sending him home tomorrow. Huge relief.

They are doing some form of construction on the floor where his room is, I legit got lost wandering through the plywood halls and had to be rescued by a very amused nurse.

Contractor texted me yesterday to tell me that steel beams will be arriving at the house tomorrow. Um. I think that's good?
