I'm at work. It's slow. I have a buncha stuff I could be doing but I don't wanna.

Normally this results in a flurry of posts, but I honestly can't think of anything to talk about.

So. What you got?

Labour won the Oz federal election with a lead of about 28 seats, Howard lost his own seat, but probably has a golden handshake and a future as ambassador or chairman to look forward to.

It's very cold in London and I'm still not over my cough. D came home at 4:30am from an industrial/fetish club with "fat men with their cocks out"

Freda just had some baby food and a baby biscuit and is in a lovely mess again :)

Financial & social benefits to the village of Parkdale due to the removal of the Dufferin Jog.

Christmas craft fairs - have we jumped the shark?

Carpal tunnel syndrome - or "Help! My hand is numb!"

Exactly how much booze is necessary to give a sommelier alcohol poisoning?

One of those has got to nab ya! ;)

I'm against anything that makes it easier for the condo-dwellers to find us.

Define "very cold".

It is a source of perpetual amusement to Canadians just how thin-blooded Londoners are.

When I typed that, it was about 2 degrees celcius, which admittedly is practically balmy for Canadians, but for someone originally from Melbourne it's very cold! It has since warmed up to 7 degrees though.

I should add that Diva is not used to the concept of adding layers of clothes and turned up the central heating while still sitting around in his underwear ;)

What's the right guitar for a wiry, sodden punk rocker with liberty spikes and no shirt? Does it change if he's wearing black body paint and a white body paint skeleton?

I once got alcohol poisoning, at least I was told that's what it was, after having just two drinks. I believe I had a beer and a vodka sour. An hour later I felt cold and I was shaking as if I was outside in January, even though I was covered by two comforters in bed. It felt as though the blood in my body was dirty. Once I was sick, I felt a little better. It was seriously bad, and I thought I was going to die. I talked to some people about it, and they said you can get that from just mixing drinks.

I don't know about that. After I left the bar, I hoofed it to the bus stop. After I was driven to Markham, I had to walk a ways home. At no point was I in a position where I couldn't talk, walk, or wasn't aware of my surroundings. Mom said I looked a little pale and sick.

Yeah, probably not dosed then.

Could have been plain old food poisoning. It definitely doesn't sound like alcohol poisoning is very likely.
