For some reason, more random people say "hi" to me in the corridors at work when I have my hair spiked up.

Go figure.

Sio! Check out my live journal (it has my cell phone number listed for my friends) JV and I need to get a hold of you. :)

I've gotta guess it's because they like your hair and want to comment on it, but realize it would be weird for a stranger to do, so they start with a hello. Okay, or maybe people just find they've stared at you long enough that it's only excuseable if they seem to have recognized you? Or you just look so cool that they wish they knew you. Or even a combination of reactions like those?

Also hiya!

They do know me, though. I see them in the hallways every day. They just don't normally speak to me.
