Renovations at The Gin Palace are afoot, and the next big step is to replace the partition wall on the ground floor with a support beam & 2 posts to make it all open plan. Charlie's going to be putting in the new supports ('cos we've decided that we like the idea of a qualified contractor handling key structural work :-)
But we are going to tear down all the plaster & lathe on the wall beforehand which is where the search for volunteers comes in.
We're targeting the February long weekend (the 16th - 18th) to tear it down and moved into a dumpster.
Anybody interested in wielding a sledgehammer for a good cause?
