"Delmar" is actually "Delmas". And the market we saw on Day 3 was north on Delmas 33, not 32.

Just shortly before we travelled there, one of Haiti's major festivals took place. Nov 1st-2nd is the celebration of Fet Gede, which is like a Haitian equivalent of the Day of the Dead. The skeletons were Fet Gede decorations.

Cine Canada: I thought Canada was very much responsible for undermining the poor there, and giving the rich the means to murder and keep them down. Besides people being really friendly with you and BC, who there is interested in Canadian film, and which movies are they seeing?

Kapayisyen reminds me of New Orleans in some of those photos. It shouldn't be surprising as it is to see some of the same architecture.
