the_axel, always a forward thinker in the field of getting food drink and friends in the same place at the same time, has announced
his plans for his annual birthday party BBQ. This year we actually have a theme. (As opposed to our usual theme, which is a bunch of drunks and a bbq.)
We're going to have to start stocking up on tiki mugs for this one.

Date: 2005-02-12 11:28 pm (UTC)One of highlights(?) of last years event was that one of our friends who had been dying to get a turn at the grill all day was finally able sometime after midnight, by which time he was fucking hammered.
The cooking was fine, but it seems that the alcohol + smoke inhalation gave him the worst hangover ever[1].
[1] Vomiting up stomach calming drugs & sleeping practically the whole way back to Pittsburgh the following afternoon.

Date: 2005-02-25 06:45 pm (UTC)On second thought I'm thinking it would be a bad idea to be using something breakable. They have plastic coconut & pineapple mugs at the store
(Last couple parties, glassed did get broken - by me mostly.)

Got it!!!
