Ever had one of those illnesses where you spent the night with one end in the toilet bowl and the other end in a bucket?

Blows, don't it?

And it really doesn't feel like it matters which end is which.

Ugh. :-(

Oh man. Mine lasted for 24 hours exactly, and that was quite enough for me.

Feeling a bit stripped and wobbly, but over the nastiest part.

Yup. The worst part is having to make the decision about which end goes where when.

First grade. I was 5 years old. It was the middle of the night. I was sobbing between heaves because I believed that I was literally dying and would not see the morning.

It was the only time my parents ever tended to me when I was sick.

I remember the pain well. You have my deepest sympathy. Feel better soon!

I had that one just a couple days ago. It didn't last very long, but it was...um...unpleasant. Must be something going around.

Yep. 'Twas food poisoning when it last happened to me, and 'twas not fun at all.

Ohh... had that one last spring. Some fast thinking and an empty wastebasket saved the day. That was the illness that made me fall off the vegetarian wagon because I reverted back to some childlike state and needed chicken noodle soup during my convalescence.

If Axel doesn't have it yet, might I suggest scouring yer loo with bleach, particularly if you think it's a virus as opposed to food poisoning. I gave the thing I had to Greg and we were ever so thankful for having two bathrooms.

Get well soon!

I normally just lay in the bathtub with warm water running and let it all out. Makes clean up easier.

Richard says "It's the kind of thing where you wish you had two toilets, facing each other". Ewww!

Hope you are better now!
