Every friend I have who lives in Parkdale has made at least one comment about the fucking airshow. You can add mine to the list.

I found myself wondering the other day if it was simple coincidence that led to events like the air show and the Molson Indy being held in what was traditionally one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Toronto.

Well, since Rosedale isn't on the water, no.

Parkdale used to be one of the richer neighbourhoods in Toronto, when Sunnyside was still there.

And Parkdale will be again. The cycle continues as poverty is moving out to the inner suburbs, Weston isn't in the greatest shape.

It will be especially evident when we have the new RT service to transport the masses in the city suburbs and the Molson Indy replacement is run around the Parc Downsview Park perimeter.
