* Clean my room and the piles of paper/clothes etc all over the desk and floor.
* Sort through the boxes/drawers/closets full of old clothes and ebay the ones I'm never likely to wear again. (Which also means figuring out how that works.)
* Sort through the pile of clothes that need to be dyed/repaired/patched -- and either get started on dying/repairing/patching them or finally admit that it's never going to happen and throw the damn things away.
* Make a date with my sister to have the shopping-for-birthday-present get-togther I promised her a month ago.
* Clean up the piles of paper/demos/etc all over the office.
* Make a date with missshirley to do that walking tour of Little India we had planned last month.
* Do my taxes
* Make a date with my nephew for the trip to Toronto that I promised him a month ago.
* Wash and vacuum the car and clean up all the piles of paper/crap in the garage.
* Find a date to keep that lunch appointment I made with mother two months ago.
* Sort out the piles of CDs all over the house -- put mine away and give the rest back to their rightful owners
* Figure out a time when Mr Sharkey, 50_ft_queenie, zero_gravity and I can get together for some semi-regular writing sesions.
* Clean up and update the cangoth site
* Do the same with the binetcanada site.
* Go through all the Convergence files on my computer, delete the ones I don't need, and archive the rest

Hey, wasn't life supposed to get less busy after Convergence

My turn!

My To Do List

- Thoroughly clean, dust and vacuum my room
- Defrost and clean the fridge
- Spring clean the rest of the house, including the deck
- Write the C8 review for Starvox
- Review Escape Ferocity for Starvox
- Buy tix for the Van Warped tour - I am going to have fun this summer!
- Research and possibly sign up for desktop publising classes at George Brown
- Finally teach myself HTML and get my damn web page up and running

Hey Sio, lemme know when you and [livejournal.com profile] missshirley decide to tour Little India. M and I live a stone's throw from there, and we'd love to meet you for dinner at our fave little buffet place.

As for writing, I think we'll just have to buckle down and say, damn our busy schedules, we're making two hours this week to write! I think we'll also have to make it a flexible arrangement in order to get the most out of it.

It feels weird putting people on a "to-do" list -- as if they were tasks to be accomplished. But if I don't they tend to get buried under all the other priorities and I never seem to get around to seeing people at all.

And I keep thinking of new stuff to add. :-p

ebay is the tool of the devil.

if you're going to be ebaying things, i have two bits of advice: one: invest in or somehow get your mitts on a stand-alone listing utility. ebay has one of its own called Mister Lister, but any PC software site will have a dozen. espeically, you want one that will let your write ads in advance and then automatically posts them at a specified time, because:

two: to get the best prices, the most crucial thing is to time when your actions are going to end. friday, saturday, and sunday evenings are best. people are home, bored, and willing to bid like mad.

oh, and one other thing: if you're going to be selling clothes on ebay, provide measurements, not just the size. even if it's just a t-shirt. people do appreciate it, and you won't have to face any whiny buyers afterwards who end up with somethng that dosen't fit them.

Oh cool, an experienced Ebay-er.

I may pick your brains further if I ever get the first part of the job accomplished...

my brain is open for picking. i sell a couple of hundred dollars' worth of clothes and shoes on ebay per annum, and thus have entirely too many tens of neurons devoted to the process. it's really more tedious than difficult, but essentially being paid to clean is nice.

eep.. just checked my "Friends of" list... and there you are!

thanks for adding me... I have a head like a hole sometimes, and forgot your LJ name. *cough* spaz *cough*

I have been writing like a crazy crazy maniac. I do want to get that info you spoke of the other day (about the writing). The way things are at work I may be looking for another job soon. I do go on call though next week so it means my life will suck - more. hehe.
