My To-Do List
Jun. 18th, 2002 02:14 pm* Clean my room and the piles of paper/clothes etc all over the desk and floor.
* Sort through the boxes/drawers/closets full of old clothes and ebay the ones I'm never likely to wear again. (Which also means figuring out how that works.)
* Sort through the pile of clothes that need to be dyed/repaired/patched -- and either get started on dying/repairing/patching them or finally admit that it's never going to happen and throw the damn things away.
* Make a date with my sister to have the shopping-for-birthday-present get-togther I promised her a month ago.
* Clean up the piles of paper/demos/etc all over the office.
* Make a date with missshirley to do that walking tour of Little India we had planned last month.
* Do my taxes
* Make a date with my nephew for the trip to Toronto that I promised him a month ago.
* Wash and vacuum the car and clean up all the piles of paper/crap in the garage.
* Find a date to keep that lunch appointment I made with mother two months ago.
* Sort out the piles of CDs all over the house -- put mine away and give the rest back to their rightful owners
* Figure out a time when Mr Sharkey, 50_ft_queenie, zero_gravity and I can get together for some semi-regular writing sesions.
* Clean up and update the cangoth site
* Do the same with the binetcanada site.
* Go through all the Convergence files on my computer, delete the ones I don't need, and archive the rest

Hey Sio, lemme know when you and
As for writing, I think we'll just have to buckle down and say, damn our busy schedules, we're making two hours this week to write! I think we'll also have to make it a flexible arrangement in order to get the most out of it.
Re: My turn!
Date: 2002-06-18 08:09 pm (UTC)It feels weird putting people on a "to-do" list -- as if they were tasks to be accomplished. But if I don't they tend to get buried under all the other priorities and I never seem to get around to seeing people at all.
And I keep thinking of new stuff to add. :-p
ebay is the tool of the devil.
Date: 2002-06-18 07:32 pm (UTC)two: to get the best prices, the most crucial thing is to time when your actions are going to end. friday, saturday, and sunday evenings are best. people are home, bored, and willing to bid like mad.
oh, and one other thing: if you're going to be selling clothes on ebay, provide measurements, not just the size. even if it's just a t-shirt. people do appreciate it, and you won't have to face any whiny buyers afterwards who end up with somethng that dosen't fit them.

I have been writing like a crazy crazy maniac. I do want to get that info you spoke of the other day (about the writing). The way things are at work I may be looking for another job soon. I do go on call though next week so it means my life will suck - more. hehe.
