How hard is it to dye pubic hair, anyway?

Haven't tried it, but Body Art magazine did a special on the subject, years ago. They recommended using facial hair bleach, but then proceeding as normal with Directions or Crazy Colour type hair dyes, IIRC.

I know there's special formulations that are less irritating available.

pretty hard actually, and i'm a natural blond so mine should have been relatively easy. i used a high peroxide bleach (be careful w/ it if you have tender skin though or you will wind up with a poor sad tender cooter ;p) and then the color. it's a bitch to keep up too and looks strange growing out.

The vegan store on Bloor just West of Bathurst carries a product that is 100% vegan and I believe fairly all natural that is formulated *just for* making the carpet match the drapes. I believe they have a purple in the colour line up too. It's from this company: http://www.bettybeauty.com/

Also, this might be helpful...not that I'm saying that your carpet's grey, I'd have no idea, but it does have neat tips like covering the tender bits in Vaseline to protect them, etc. http://womenshealth.about.com/od/womenshealthandbeauty/ht/dyebodyhair.htm

The fact that this product exists should surprise me a lot less than it does.

Stencils.

You know, I originally asked the question out of pure curiosity. You now have me seriously curious to try it out.

One hint...slather Vaseline on the tender bits to avoid making them scream in agony.

You could forget trying to color-match the carpet and go with Smooth Tile Floors....

My ex and his primary dye theirs right before Pennsic Wars. Although what the tie-in with a SCA event and muppet crotch is, I have no idea.

I can poke Kaz and ask her if she uses the Betty kits.
