I've seen mono people with circumstances far more confusing than my relatively settled polyweb; it seems to be as much about how frequently people start and end relationships as about whether they always end one relationship before starting another.

that sounds entirely too complex for me to deal with. i don't think i would do well with that. but i don't give people titles and relationships really. just sleep with them, have fun & love them, mostly. i don't know if i could commit to anything more than that. i'm not sure that's anything different than a girlfriend would be, but i don't have the time or inclinsation for much more.

It's a lot less complicated that it sounds. I have relationships that fall into the category "serious" and ones that fall into the category "fun". But sometimes I like to play with connections because I'm amused by that.
