hitting the wall

My boss has given me a task that isn't hugely difficult but involves staring at a lot of names on spreadsheets. And I can't focus at all. It's like my brain keeps sliding off it.

I normally take a lot of pride in taking care in my work. But I'm just so bloody tired.

Nap dates are an awesome idea. "hey, do you want to come over, lay down under a blanket and snooze for a couple of hours? We can talk a bit before/after snoozing. NO, this is not a sexual come on, I'm seriously just talking about naps and cuddles" :-)
