1. Body/brain stuff
Regular Working out. I've made a start. It's a slow start but I'm cool with that.
Eating better. FAIL.
In this case eating better means paying more attention into getting the nutrients I'm lacking, eating less take-out/order-in, cutting down on wheat again and quite probably drinking a little less. I suck at this and I'm not sure how to get better. I hate food prep, I hate meal-planning and I have a strong tendency to revert to comfort food when stressed or tired.
I am only slightly better at getting enough sleep and remembering to take my damn supplements. Maybe I should focus on that for now.
2. House stuff
Not so good. The only thing that got accomplished this month was finally managing to get the last six boxes of house crap moved into storage. The storage locker is now solidly in the No More Space category.
Part of my problem is that the new job is tapping me out a lot in terms of energy. That will get easier as I get up to speed, but right now I'm leaving work already half-fried. I figure I have about an hour of productive time in me when I get home and all of it seems to getting sucked up by food and laundry and dishes and bills and all the other day-to-day crap. So I can't seem to find anything left with which to mow through the moldering stack of household receipts on my desk or deal with the piles of garbage scattered all over the rest of the house.
I've been betting a lot that my energy levels will gradually increase with the new physio. What finally ends up happening with the house this year is likely to depend on whether or not I'm right about that.
3. Travel stuff
Axel and I made noises about going to Montreal for a long weekend some time soon. Make a note to poke the locals and see when is a good time.

Date: 2011-02-02 12:05 am (UTC)What about one of those "home cooked meals delivered" places? I assume they have them there, and I gather they deliver mostly healthy frozen food weekly so you don't have to cook. You do need a largish freezer.
No sure if you'd have the nutritional choices you might want (or what kind of cost you'd be up for), but it might be something.
