I still get occasional waves of dizziness but they are much shorter lived and less severe. I think the constant background noise of low-level wobbliness is less severe also.
It really seems to be dependent on how much sleep I get, and the drugs are definitely messing with my sleep. It takes me longer to fall asleep at night and if I wake up in the middle of the night (which happens two or three times a night) it takes me a lot longer to fall back asleep. The shrink gave me some sleeping pills to use if it gets really bad. I get an overwhelming wave of tired in the middle of the day.
I think the worst day I've had so far was the one where I missed a pill - I was an absolute mess of dizziness, nausea, exhaustion and fuzzy-headedness. So much so that Axel took me home from work early. If that shit is addictive it works fast.
My stomach is still jumpy - I get nausea really easy and I hate, hate, hate the feeling of having a full stomach. (I did it again last night and ugh!) Axel is the one who pointed out to me that when you take recreational psychotropics the last thing one wants to do is have food in your stomach, so it makes sense this would have a similar effect.
My gag reflex is pretty bad because of the nausea. I had a teeth-cleaning on the weekend, which is probably the dumbest thing I've done for a while. Axel had to walk me there and back just to make sure I didn't fall off the sidewalk. I was so rigid in the chair the dentist gave me a script for a tranquilizer for the next time I go in. But I managed not to throw up or bite anybody.
My palms are definitely sweating more. The rest of my skin is super dry and I need to put drops in my eyes more often. I think the latter isn't from the Ciprolex but because I haven't been taking all the supplements I normally do - they tend to aggravate the nausea. I'm also starting to get the bugs-under-skin sensation that I was having before I started on the supplements. Joy.
Still clenching my jaw really hard in my sleep. I have to think consciously about relaxing it when I'm awake.
Nasty-ass side effect I have NOT had to deal with, the Zoloft gave me a headache that lasted the entire time I was on it. So far I have had no issues with that at all.
Oh yeah, and the sexual side-effect appears to be manageable with um, mechanical assistance. So I can live with that.
Brain weasels still in occupancy. No major changes yet on that front.
