So after telling everybody that my dizziness is mostly gone I got hit with a massive wave of vertigo on Tuesday that is still messing with me three days later. It's pissing me off. I had plans dammit! Well, plans that didn't involve landing on my ass, anyway.

The amount of vertigo I get does seem to be related to how much sleep I'm getting so I actually broke down and took the sleeping pills the shrink gave me. Shit on toast but do they ever taste awful. They definitely make me sleep though.

I also am rocking a killer cold this week with lots of sneezing and everything. Axel is all over the theory that the gunk in my head is part of what's causing the problem. It seems like a reasonable possibility to me so I am going to go to the store and buy cold meds. I have never taken cold meds before. Cold meds in my house was my mother putting a shot of whiskey in my tea so I would sleep through the night and leave her the hell along. So I am actually going to have to spend some time reading boxes in the store because I don't even know what any of them are supposed to do.

See what happen when I start taking pills? They breed.

On the other tentacle, the brain-weasels started up this morning like they always do and I told them to fuck off like I always do and they... did? Whut?

I'm not counting any chickens yet, but that sure beats the hell out of hissing invective at them under my breath on the bus. If I ever ride the bus again that is, what with being all dizzy and sneezy and everything.

I might plan to avoid stairs for a spell. And escalators. But you should always avoid escalators.

Just figure it's worth saying the obvious: don't get the WAKEY-WAKEY ones if you need sleep.
Personally, I have no reaction to (psuedo)ephidrine at all, so, you know, it doesn't affect me, but it may you. Someones they do seem to work, others not so much.

If you're stuffed-up, I swear by Spray-Tish these days.
