Apparently male reptiles can develop these things called seminal plugs. They aren't common - most animals go their whole life without developing one - but they do happen.

I think Carlin has one. I've given him one good soak already, I'm letting him bask in the sun for a bit and then I'll give him another one. If that doesn't work we're off to the vet to have it removed.

And that, ladies and gentlemen and others, is why I spent Sunday night looking up pictures of bearded dragon penises.
