the_siobhanAxel, Carlin and I are now living on the ground floor while baseboards, closets and bannisters are being installed on the top floor.

Axel bought the biggest honkin' desk I have ever seen. Our "office" space has expanded to 65% of the ground floor. Unfortunately a previous shopping trip had resulted in the biggest television I have ever seen. I think somebody might be overestimating the size of our house.

We have $59 left of the renovation credit. I think that might be enough to buy one more can of paint.

Every single object in my kitchen is covered in a thick layer of plaster dust. I've washed every last dish we own. I start cleaning out the cupboards under the sink this weekend.

Rhetorical question I voiced this weekend: "If I were Axel, where would I put the package of mousetraps?"
Darrell: "With the tax forms."
