At the Toronto poly potluck last night,
bcholmes and I were debating the proper way to describe the relationship of a family we know.
BC: I think it's a "Y" with a dotted line across the top.
Me: No, I think it's a "Z".
BC: But L and I have said they have sex.
Me: Sex doesn't count.
BC: It doesn't? Why not?
Me: Because if it did there would be 20 people in our relationship.
It was at that exact moment that I realized that everybody in the room was listening to us.
Oops.

In other news, I've been spending a lot of time lately researching college and independent radio stations lately. I'm startled at the number of them that have an all-Christian format.

I'm not. There are a lot of American colleges that were founded by and/or are currently largely funded by some denomination or other of the church. Have you checked the correlations between the formats of the stations and the general policies of the schools at large?
I now have a very amusing scenario in my head of some fundie DJ getting confused and playing "Jesus Christ version 2.0" without listening to it first.

Usually when I am saying the word, "penis".

Not in detail. I did have a quick look at the playlists to see which ones have a strict "Christian-only" policy and which ones are more liberal.
