Random vertigo attacks continue to be random. I made it through an entire yoga class last week with only the barest of twitches from my inner ear. Then yesterday a big pressure front decided to visit town and I couldn't walk across the room without holding onto something. Today I'm a little spinny but navigating entirely fine. It's bizarre.


I am now reading the second of the two investment books I bought in my goal to Know How To Do Shit With Money. The first one was a "For Dummies" book so it was written in the characteristic casual tone with lots of dumb jokes and scrupulous attention to alternating the gender of the pronouns. The second book I got because Warren Buffett says it's the best book ever written on the topic and I figure he probably knows what he's talking about. It was published in 1973 and it's fascinating to me how much writing for the layman has changed in the last 40 years. It's definitely a lot more formal in tone, and it assumes a much more extensive vocabulary in the reader.
