Not entirely sure what's going on, but there is some machine that turns the terrain into so much powder, and it's operating directly behind my back yard.
My old house had three houses built next to it over 15 years, and I did it each time, never had any obvious issues, thankfully, but old work was next to a high-rise they built, and that suffered some cracking bad enough it was at least partially structural.
Almost sounds like deliberate soil liquefaction. Are they doing major works on the rail line?
