Anybody have a link to a decent plant identification guide? Something where I can I put in a list of characteristics and it will spit out a "it's probably this" answer?
My google-fu is weak and I have yet to find a phone app that does what it claims.

Date: 2020-07-06 09:08 pm (UTC)I have a collection of plants that came out of a mixed arrangement. I have figured out that one is kalanchoe, which is from Africa, and another is cordyline, most varieties of which come from the South Pacific. So looking at sites that only list local plants doesn't help me because the unidentified ones could come from literally anywhere.

Not that I'm likely to know what it is. :) My go-to strategy with these things is to type all the things you'd check off on the identification key into google images ... almost always gets it eventually. If it was a bug you could post a pic on bugguide.net ... you'd think there must be something like that for plants.
