The story behind this thing is that I brought back a mixed basket of plants from my mother's funeral. They got left behind at my mother's house and by the time I retrieved them most of the plants had died. I was able to revive a kolanchoe and cordyline and they doing really well now.

When I repotted the cordyline there was a tiny shoot of green wrapped around it's leaves that obviously was a different plant. I had no idea what it was so I stuck in some dirt to see what it turned into. I now have this thing, and I cannot figure out what it is.

The leaves kinda look like mint, but it's definitely not.

It's not super photogenic, so it's possible it's just some random weed that it picked up in transit.

It has these weird rosettes at the base of each leaf that look like they're going to turn into flowers, but never do. (Hard to tell from this picture, but the rosette is attached to the stem by a very short stalk)

I ran it through Plant Net and it says it could be one of three weeds, haha. Likely that's what it is! Cool, though!

I see wikipedia says of crabweed: "The fruit is single seeded and explosively shoots the seed up to several meters."
