Based on the number empty tonic cans lined up on the kitchen counter I am surprised that I'm not hungover. I also managed over 2500 words, in spite of having not a single idea in my head when I sat down at the computer.

Now for a late brunch and a productive Sunday.

As I had determined, I worked on the Yuletide fic first. Then lots of other stuff happened and I didn't have much time for writing, so I just got in a tiny bit on the poly fic before bed.

7 November check-in: I forgot to do this yesterday, so I hope it's OK to include it here. I finished the editing. I was so slow about it, but it is done now.

8 November check-in: Well, I wasted a lot of time looking for an image to go with the posting of the story in a couple locations, but I did finally find one that was close enough to what I wanted, after some modifications, to be acceptable. Also, I actually posted the story in two spots rather than just thinking about doing it. Very few words were involved in any of this.

1800 words today. My cheerleader was studying all day, and I was feeding her snippets as a reward. She'd study, I'd write, she'd get a snippet for a reward, I'd get some praise for a reward, and then we'd both put our noses to our grindstones again. It was a nicely productive day for both of us!

And now I've hit the end of what I've planned out, and... I can't decide if I'm at the end of the story or not. That's a question for my cheerleader, I guess, once she's had a chance to sleep. (She's eight time zones away from me.)

Oops, I've forgotten to check in for a while now - just been busy with writing and studying so I haven't got around to checking DW regularly. Anyway, here to say that I've written on all of the above days, working on my novel for NaNoWriMo. So please add me to days 3-8 when you get a chance! (And I've already done all the writing for the 9th that I'm going to, if you also want to add me for today already.) It's safe to say by now I'm unlikely to get the official 50K word goal, but I'm still on track for the more reasonable 30K goal - just got to 9,500 words, in fact.
