Who has two thumbs and managed to catch a cold in the middle of a global pandemic?

I went to the dentist on Friday, so that's probably where I picked it up. Everybody was masked, everything was sterile and they have a HEPA filter doing full air exchanges so I'm not sure how I picked up a virus, but I did. This obviously means I have to up my hand-washing game.

I'm reasonably sure it's a virus and not allergies because my lymph nodes are getting in on the action. I'm also reasonably sure it's not covid or the flu because it's mostly manifesting as snot. However, it is coming along with an extra helping of sinus headache and scratchy throat so quarantine, here I am.

I briefly considered going for testing, but with the numbers in the province right now the clinics will be full of sick people so sod it. I'll just stay away from people. And grumble about it.

I was annoyed about it, but if it's going to happen at least it's after all the Christmas organizing is out of the way. (How does Christmas already feels like it was six months ago?)
