Aug 11th - 372 words, my lowest daily word count since I joined WED... A double drabble and some editing on two fics.

I was more interested in getting outside and continuing the monumental task of clearing out a greenhouse. I keep telling myself I don't need to stick to a 500-word minimum now that I've completed my modest GYWO pledge, but then I feel guilty. Yesterday was the first time I managed to quash the guilt.

On Day 11, I added 711 words to Laci Waxwing and took out a whole scene as well, streamlining it and finding my ending as well. That is to say, I know what the ending will entail, not that I've written it already. I'm still a ways away from that! Lol!

Day 11: Defeated by the hot weather and lack of sleep (caused by the hot weather), I re-drafted one paragraph and then gave up. There's three more days of this to come, and even then it won't cool down properly :(

Ugh. I'm sorry you're dealing with that. Heat sucks the energy out of me like nothing else.

Good work on getting that paragraph done, that's still an accomplishment.

Wrote 300 words and got to the end of a chapter! Total wordcount 65,300.

I'll be away for about a week out in the forest without internet and with little electricity, so I probably won't be reporting for a while!
