the_siobhanC9, Carhenge, Cadillac Ranch, The Grand Canyon, The Petrified Forest, The Painted Desert, the home of the 72-ounce steak, the biggest cross in North America, Hunter S Thompson's ranch, a house inside a cliff, a haunted hotel room, mountains, deserts, cows, ravens, a missle silo complete with Titan II missle, Jessie Jame's hideout, a 29-hour drive straight through from Nebraska, two speeding tickets, one kidnapping and a day-trip back to Sarnia to retreive a misplaced knapsack later -- and I'm home.

Date: 2003-05-05 02:03 pm (UTC)WE tried to goto the home of the 72-ounce steak but they didn't have any parking by windows so we could keep an eye on the dog so we ate at Denny's intead.
There is a second version of that cross in Effingham IL now - they saw the one in Groom, TX and decided to put one up also
