Aug 24th - Despite an exhausting day, the 'drabble' I thought I was writing wound up being 890 words... That'll do.

That's pretty good for being exhausted!

I was quite impressed with myself, but it was one of those fics that practically wrote itself. Lots of dialogue. The characters in my head were chatty, so I wrote down what they were saying ;)

This was yet another very long day of exhausting adulting, but I did manage to wrangle 201 words on the alibi paragraph that seems to have decided to become a story.

Day 24: Submitted the story I kept re-editing! Edited it one more time first. Worked out part of a social media strategy for HWA at Fan Expo. Hope Needful Things went well.

I got my ribcage bent back to where it's supposed to be for 20 minutes. Not Fun At All, but I do feel less seized up today.

I wrote it in the spring workshop and revised it for weeks since then. I submitted it to Unidentified Funny Objects, and it will be rejected, but godammit, I submitted it. =D

Day 24: I am sleeping badly again because of the heat; the night before last I was entertaining myself while unable to sleep by thinking through ideas for what'll be my next longer fic, and on the 24th I started scribbling these ideas down. Moderately plotty and complicated, lots to work out...

I'm sorry to hear about the heat messing with your sleep. Here it's ridiculously humid, but that means we get thunderstorms every night. Nice if you can handle the crash bang boom.
