Old Man
  • he's been locked out of online banking - get that sorted so I can help him pay his bills
  • renew insurance
  • dentist appointment next Tuesday - I need to organize a cab and notify the residence
  • follow up with physiotherapist
  • order the stuff he asked for
  • follow up with the residence about their questions
  • go through his residence receipts & other bills - make sure everything is paid and he isn't being charged for extra things
House
  • wash the floors - I did the ones upstairs but a lot of the crap is being tracked upstairs from the rest of the house. I'll do the stairs and corral the housemate into helping with the ground floor
  • clean out fridge, I have no idea what's in there
  • same for freezer - make a plan about what I have left and what I can conceivably stock up on
  • get some kind of mat for the litter box
  • take the air fryer upstairs and scrub the shit out of it
  • snake the bathroom drains - despite my best efforts I think they have collected some food from doing the dishes upstairs
  • freecycle posts

My stuff
  • appointment with FA is scheduled for mid-month.
  • I need to finally sort out that freakin' will
  • overdue for eye check
  • set up new budget
  • figure out how much I can throw into my RRSP this year - I should have some cash coming to me for unused vacation
  • organize & file the paperwork on my desk

Added stuff as I think of it
  • re-pot some of the plants that are bursting out of their containers in my office window
  • clean the Pompeii-levels of dust out of the computers (especially my work one)
  • dig through the shoe polish box to see if we have some conditioner to do my boots
  • sort out tinned/packaged food shoved onto the back shelf and make a list
  • transfer files from windows computer to laptop & visa versa - mostly music & writing, but I probably have some receipts I want to keep track of as well
  • filed all my insurance claims for the year
  • I want to order a new reusable mask that seals better than the one I have

This is all waiting until tomorrow, because tonight the gf is making dinner.

Re: masks, I've been using the KN94s from Masklab and I like them a lot. They're disposable but you can get a lot of hours out of them, and they sit farther away from my mouth than many other designs - good for lipstick but also good for when I'm hauling ass through an airport or something and puffing away mouth-breathing.

A few of my friends here in KW have that mask and are big fans. One's a midwife, so wearing it pretty constantly, and likes it so much she bought it for some of her family who're still masking.

I’ve upgraded my whole family to the Breathe masks and then bought one for a friend who works retail. She’s going up and down stairs all day and has to talk to people constantly, and she’s loved the Breathe mask because it doesn’t restrict her breathing by getting damp when she’s working hard (as masks that sit against the mouth can) and it’s easy to talk through.
