These are not things that play well with each other.
Things Crossed Off The List
Dug out two big boxes of old paperwork, filed most of it, set the remainder in a box to go to the shredder
Compiled my tax info
Compiled Old Man's tax info
Sorted out the household bank account. Then the bank took a wadge of cash out and I had to move funds around again so nothing will bounce
Got one of the joint bank accounts closed
Fixed the bathroom light. This involved rather more dust and standing on ladders than I would have preferred but it's finally done so I'm no longer peeing in the dark.
Still To Do:
Get all the payments for the remaining joint account shifted over and close it as well.
Put together the final numbers before meeting with the lawyer. This means chasing after the contractor to get his closing balance.
As soon as I'm out of quarantine I have to go to Old Man's residence and pick up his mail. So next Friday probably.
Have to get that tree replaced in the backyard - I have about another two months before the city will come around to check it's been done.
Call Home and Community Care about their waiting list for LTC.
Get any household related files off housemates computer
It's supposed to be sunny and warm tomorrow. Maybe I'll see if I can climb down into the backyard and go have a look at the spot where the tree is supposed to go.
