Anybody on my friends list who happens to reside in the towm of Gotham up for taking in some house guests? (Or have friends who are wont to pile their couches and floor with friendly strangers?)

I have a group of musicians landing at JFK next Tuesday, and they'd like to stay for a couple of days of sight-seeing before I come down to pick them up. I'd be most grateful if I knew they were in good hands.

I like that idea. Does it mean that you'll be balancing the scales by sending us Bella Morte at some point? :)

I'd actually really like to do that. Supposedly it's easier to get a US work permit if you do it as a "work exchange" with an American band.

They'd go over amazing at a Whitby.

Whitby? Y'know, you're not the first person to say that...

They'd go down wonderfully on the same bill as someone like Manuskript, too - in an ideal world, they'd play London and/or Leeds warm-up gigs with the 'skript, then go on to conquer Whitby...

And if they ever hit Germany, they'd be pretty damn impressive at Leipzig or M'era Luna, too. Hope I see that happen, some day.

my place is seriously teeny-tiny and i have only floorspace available, but if you get desperate and they don't mind splitting up, email me - i might be able to fit 1-2 people.

I could probably take 2 as well if you find no other placements. My living situation is weird, as you know. But hey, if you have 2 easygoing type rockstars who don't care that I'm in queens and that this is a strange household, I'm there. or here, rather.

email me, lemme know.

well, i have floorspace for two, and if i can get the den cleared out this week, a single bed plus floor for one. there is also my bed, which i will share and/or will sleep two if i'm at work while rockstars are snoozing.

the caveats being:

-i live in the north bronx, which is 45 minutes to an hour from midtown by subway. it's a simple ride, however.
- not sure if i can get the working debris out of the den in time, but i will certainly try. also, it's not air-conditioned. (my bedroom is.) i have plenty of bedding, but we had to toss the air-mattress recently.
- i can't be much of a hostess, since i have a day job in the lower east side. blah. can give directions and fetch from the airport if they're arriving monday night or tuseday, though.

also, i assume cats are not a problem. heh.
