One for all the Firefly fanatics on my f-list; there is a potential project that would see new episodes filmed and released directly to DVD. Interested people can sign up here. The more response they get, the more likely it is to happen.

Have you seen the trailer for the movie? I'm trying to make heads or tails of it, but from what I can tell it looks like they may have re-written part of the movie.

My sentimnts exactly.

Mostly because I believe (though don't remember where I read it) both JW and the studio have said that the contract is for 3 movies depending on how well the first one performs at the box office.

S'okay -- little-known fact, but LJ also doesn't always show all posts. If I consult my friends list for a given time frame and then consult the actual pages of the people on that list for the same time frame, I always find several posts that (verifiably) are not on the friends page. I'm not sure what the deal is with that.

I found out about Firefly only last fall. I went to visit RA and she showed me the first three episodes or so, which I liked enough that I bought the boxed set when I got home. Wonderful stuff. :)
