This is the first day in about three weeks that I haven't felt like I was running a low-grade fever. I woke up early today so I went to the gym. And I didn't die. Nice.

Somewhere when I was deeply immersed in feeling pissy it went from merely thawing to actually spring. It's nice outside. And warm. Birds are singing, buds are budding and dog poo is everywhere.

I'm even starting to feel the urge to be social again.

The big road trip is about six weeks away. Starting to get excited.

I love the smell of the air in the late spring. It's this strangely pleasant combination of flowers, wet soil and shit.
