Somehow I managed to blow out my back this weekend.

It hurts to sit down. It hurts to get up. It hurts like hell to sneeze.

First a hot shower and then I'm going to go to the chiropractor if I can figure out how to get my shoes on without dying.

(This does not bode well for sleeping on an air mattress for a week and a half.)

Yikes! You seemed fine on Saturday night, so I assume this happened sometime on Sunday? Do you keep any Robaxacet in the house? M and I swear by it for keeping muscle spasms to a minimum until we can get to the chiro's.

I think I did do it on Saturday because I was sore when I woke up on Sunday morning. Not this bad though, so I've aggravated it somehow.

I hate the way the slightest thing can throw your back out once it goes just a bit out of whack. When I fucked up my SI joint last May, I did by bending over to pick something up off the floor. I'm still healing/recovering from that.

Yeah, I pop ribs out. But that's in part because I'm asthmatic so I have overdeveloped muscles around my ribcage.

if you're comfortable with it, its probably best for her if I drop in on her. My house is full of rambunctious and loud bouncing dogs and kids... i'd bet that if I brought her here, she wouldn't eat.

I'd be more than happy to do so, but i'm afraid it might defeat the purpose.

If you're in Parkdale, I'm down there at least twice a week so it would be no problem for me to drop in.

if the heat does'nt soothe it, ice massage will do wonders although it might feel horrendous at first. also i highly recommend aleve because it has the anti-inflammatory as well as the muscle relaxant component. that is providing you do'nt take other medications that would contraindicate aleve/naproxazen (or however you spell it)
