I had a rough week both emotionally and physically. I came home from work today literally tipping over with exhaustion - I fell asleep on a busy crowded bus and almost missed my stop.

And now my house is full of people. I didn't really plan it that way, and it's loud, messy and chaotic.

Having a bunch of people I love - especially those who I don't see as often as I like (is there anybody I see as often as I would like) - reminds me that I am one wealthy motherfucker.

(And I (drunk) just told my daughter (drunk) my cock-or-walk story.)

Cock or Walk story summed up; I was out with a guy for the first time. We go "driving". He takes me out into the middle of fucking nowhere, pulls over and informs me that I will be walking home unless I consent to service him.

I, of course, get out of the car, lean back in and say, "You know, I totally intended to fuck you stupid later. You just blew it pal." I slam the door and start walking.

He drives along beside me for the first mile or so. It was just a joke he was only kidding get back in the car holy crap it's dangerous out here I'm not really going to walk all the way home in the dark please get back in the car. I tell him to fuck off a couple of times and then just ignore him. He finally takes off.

I walk for just over an hour until I get to a bigger road and hitch-hike home. I got picked up by a trucker who wanted to know what the hell I thought I was doing thumbing in the middle of the night. I told him the story and he was highly indignant. Kept offering to help me go find the guy and give him some basic instructions on how not to treat a date. I assured him I had it covered.

So of course I loudly told everybody the story when I got back. He was the laughing stock of the bar. Didn't come back around after that.
